Elder Chris Crouse – Adorn The House Of God
Ezra faced things he didn’t intentionally plan for or know about. In the past the Lord had worked through miracles to deliver the children of Israel, but this time it would be through providence. Cyrus would let the children of Israel to go back and rebuild their temple. But when the foundation complete, the older Israelites that knew the temple before were saddened that it did not match its former glory. Ezra is burdened to adorn the house of God. Elder Chris points out to adorn it is not to simply beautify the building, but it is to maintain its principles and practice, show our love to God, and love one another.
