Elder Chris Crouse – Extraordinary and Ordinary Blessings
In Joshua 5, we see the children of Israel about to receive the promise of their inheritance. The Lord commanded that circumcision be completed, and at Gilgal, they observed the Passover. They arrived in Canaan during the first month of the year, marking a new beginning filled with new blessings. They ate the old corn prepared by others, signifying their possession of the land, and the manna ceased. After experiencing extraordinary events over the past forty years, they now faced a future shaped by ordinary labor. Elder Chris explains that while we may experience extraordinary moments from time to time, we should be grateful for the ordinary blessings in our daily lives. There is coming an extraordinary day when our Lord Jesus Christ will return and give us the inheritance that has been reserved for us.
