Elder David Montgomery – Following Christ
Elder David reads a passage from Luke where Christ had a conversation with three individuals that wanted to follow Him. Christ explained that he doesn’t have a place to lay his head, which would be the same for those that follow. The next said to first let him bury his father but Christ said to let the dead bury the dead. The third wanted to bid his family goodbye. But Christ explained if you are plowing a row in the field and look back, you are not fit. Elder David explains this lesson shows how important a life of Christ is to each believer. It’s more important than anything in this world.
