Elder Will Martin – Work Out Your Own Salvation
Elder Will proclaims that Heaven is given to us without our works. Jesus did all the works necessary to secure our eternal salvation. But Paul charged the church at Philippi to “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Elder Will points out there are two contexts under consideration here, salvation eternally, and salvation in this life. God has given us the capability and burden to do good things while we live here and it is good for us to do them.
