Elder Doug McKay – Psalm 124
Elder Doug turns to Psalm 124 and reflects on what the Lord has done. He points out that if God has shown us our sinfulness and revealed the Lord Jesus Christ to us, this is clear evidence that He is on our side. While David could have boasted about his own accomplishments, he acknowledges that without the Lord, they would have been quickly overwhelmed. Elder Doug encourages us in this new year to reflect on God’s providence and to call on the name of the Lord, for in His name, there is salvation.
