Elder Chris Crouse – Under Whose Wings Thou Art Come to Trust
In Ruth 2, Ruth, a foreigner in the land, fell on her face and asked why she received grace in Boaz’s eyes. But Boaz knew the love she had for her mother-in-law, and showed her grace. He informed her to come to his field to receive a full reward. God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him in this world. Elder Chris then looked closely at “under whose wings thou art come to trust.” God uses this imagery to convey the broadness of His protection, His swift rescues, a covering from infancy to the grave, and a tender encouragement in our lives.
