Elder Danny Wisner – Nevertheless
Elder Danny begins the February meeting by looking at the term “nevertheless.” In 1 Chronicles 11, David was anointed king over Israel. Even though the Jebusites did not want them to come up, it did not matter. David took the castle of Zion. In Luke, Jesus asked Simon to let down his net even though they had toiled all night long and caught nothing. But Simon said nevertheless, at thy word he would, and a miracle was experienced. Elder Danny proclaims that despite what we have done, our eternal life stands sure and we will be with God in glory one day.
