Elder Jerry Anstey – Liberty in Christ Jesus
Elder Jerry describes liberty as part of a positive cycle: our faith pleases God, which is activated by belief, drives us to action, and provides both evidence and assurance. This, in turn, leads to hope that strengthens our faith. Paul warns the Galatians that if they rely on anything other than Christ, they lose that liberty and fall from grace in this life. Elder Jerry leaves us with the thought that the sufferings of this life are nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us. We can draw strength from this hope as we patiently await our time in Heaven.
