Elder Tom Green – Praying With Importunity
Elder Tom examines prayer with importunity which can be defined in a couple ways. One is persistence. We are always to pray and not faint or give up. Even in periods of darkness don’t look in other directions other than the Lord. Another definition is shamelessness. Our nature doesn’t want others to know our shame, but Elder Tom reminds us God already knows and we are to go to him no matter our shameful state. He loves us despite this and we are to go boldly to the throne of Grace because he cares. Jesus instructs that God will give the Holy Spirit to those that ask. Elder Tom proclaims that the answer to all our prayers is the presence of God in our lives.
