Elder David Crawford – His Skirt
Zechariah prophecied that when the son of God arrives, his people would come from every kindred and take hold of his skirt. Skirt in Hebrew is not what we think of today, but rather the end of a garment. This brought to mind when Christ was on his way to see Jairus’s daughter and he was pressed in the crowd. There was a woman with an issue of blood who said if she could just touch the hem of his garment she would be healed. When she touched the garment, Jesus felt virtue go out of him. Elder David proclaims the greatness when we go with him, touch his skirt, and feel the righteousness being joint-heirs with Christ.
