Elder Chris Crouse – Mercy
The mercy of God is a delight to consider and experience. Elder Chris first looks at mercy in the life of David, and then in Acts where Tabitha spent her life doing good works and giving without others knowing. She was merciful in her life. When she died Peter came into the room and the women began to show the great deeds she did. Peter prayed and she arose from the dead. She obtained mercy since she was merciful. In James, we find where heavenly wisdom comes along with mercy, and in Colossians we find instructions to put on the new man that includes mercy, kindness, humbleness, and forbearance. Elder Chris ends with a beautiful picture of mercy and truth meeting together at the cross of Calvary.
