Elder Chris Crouse – Persecution
Elder Chris considers Christ’s teachings that blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake. He goes on to say that “blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” In the middle of prison, bruised and beaten, the Apostles were happy and rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer for the name of Jesus. Elder Chris desires that we never have to experience these things in our lives, but if we do, be happy that Heaven is our destination.
