Elder Chris Crouse – Insults And Those That Would Do Evil
Elder Chris continues his series on the sermon on the mount and looks at some of the hardest instruction to comply with as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. He instructs us how we’re to deal with insults against us, and then also those that would do evil against us. By the time of Christ, the Jewish people had twisted the law of an eye for an eye that was intended to protect the people through the judging process. Instead, they were taking matters into their own hands. Elder Chris points out when we feel insulted, we are not to respond in kind, but to commit it to the Lord that judges faithfully.
